Meet the Founder I’m Charles Hak, founder of X1 IT Services. With over 20 years in IT and cybersecurity, I’ve seen how downtime, hidden costs, and confusing technology can hold businesses back. I started X1 to give small and mid-sized businesses IT that’s simple, reliable, and secure — so you can focus on running and growing your company.
 
 
 My Story After years of helping organizations large and small, I realized that too many smaller businesses were being underserved — stuck with unreliable systems, unpredictable costs, and cyber risks that left them vulnerable.
X1 IT Services was built to fix that. My goal is to bring enterprise-level IT support to growing businesses without the enterprise-level price tag or complexity.
 
 What I Believe Technology should just work — no downtime, no hassle. Security should be built-in, not an afterthought. IT should grow with your business, not hold it back. Small businesses deserve the same level of care as large enterprises.  
 Outside of Work I live in Pittsburgh with my wife and kids. When I’m not helping businesses with IT, I enjoy spending time with family, traveling, and exploring new ways technology can make everyday life easier.
